Archana Verma has an extensive work history in various marketing and communications roles. Archana started their career in 1998 as the Manager of Public Relations and Human Resources at The Akanksha Foundation, where they led a team and managed the organization's external communication. From 2000 to 2001, they worked at Good Relations India as a Senior Account Executive, overseeing PR campaigns for clients such as De Beers and Johnnie Walker. At Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide from 2001 to 2002, they served as a Senior Account Executive, developing and implementing strategic marketing communication plans for brands like Pond's and Cadbury's. From 2005 to 2012, they were the Director of Marketing and Communication at the International Association of Business Communicators, managing communication with the organization's global members and contributing to member newsletters and publications. In 2013, they worked as a Marketing Communications Consultant at Tripcierge, and in 2015, they were a Communications Program Manager at Shippable. Since 2016, Archana has been involved with the United Way of King County, initially as the Program Manager for Emerging Leaders, where they increased membership and managed a team. Archana Verma holds a Master's Degree in Mass Communications and Business Management from San Jose State University, which they earned between the years 2003 and 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in PR and Mass Communication from Xavier Institute of Communication in 1998. Archana Verma's education history also includes a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences and Environmental Sciences from St. Xavier's College, which they completed from 1994 to 1997.
