Doug Baldwin, Jr. is the campaign chair at United Way of King County. Prior to that, they were the event manager at FareStart from March 2018 to August 2020. There, they increased events revenue by more than 20% in 2 years.

Doug orchestrated audience development strategies for all fundraising events, including an Annual Gala that hosted over 800 guests and raised a record $2 million in 2019, and an Annual Golf Tournament in partnership with Amazon. Doug also directed strategy, solicitation and stewardship of chef and restaurant relationships for a weekly fundraising event, Guest Chef Night.

Doug managed an external Auction Committee made up of Board Members and other volunteers to develop & procure auction package donations and guide strategy for the annual Gala Auction; supported hundreds of solicitations which resulted in a 30% increase in auction revenue over 2 years.

Finally, they spearheaded a new golf tournament event in partnership with Amazon that raised nearly $200K in its first year. Project managed and executed sponsorship deliverables for corporate partners including Amazon, Salesforce, AWS, Fidelity, and more.

Doug Baldwin, Jr. has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
