Gordon McHenry, Jr.

Gordon McHenry, Jr. serves as the President and CEO of United Way of King County since October 2019, bringing extensive leadership experience from previous roles as President and CEO of Solid Ground from July 2012 to October 2019 and Executive Director of Rainier Scholars from 2009 to 2012. Earlier career highlights include serving as Director of Public Affairs at The Boeing Company from 2002 to 2009 and as a Senior Associate at Perkins Coie Law Firm from 1982 to 1987. Gordon McHenry, Jr. holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Seattle University, complemented by a Program for Management Development degree from Harvard Business School.
