Carolyn Grimes

Carolyn Grimes has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Carolyn currently holds the position of Senior Director, Community Leadership at the United Way of Massachusetts Bay. Prior to this, they worked as a Director at the same organization. In 2020, they were a Director at the JustMap Foundation. From 2017 to 2020, they served as a Program Assessment and Project Management consultant. Carolyn also has experience as a Program Director at Future Chefs from 2014 to 2017. At Simmons College, they held various roles including S/RC Fellowship Director and Program Director, Graduate Community Engagement and Service Learning from 2001 to 2014. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of Marketing at Boston Design from 1996 to 2000, Special Projects Coordinator at Project Bread from 1991 to 1993, Sales Manager at Copley Plaza Hotel from 1989 to 1991, and Corporate Sales Manager at the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority from 1988 to 1989.

Carolyn Grimes completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at Boston College from 1982-1986. Carolyn later pursued their Master of Science degree in Communications Management at Simmons University from 1998-2001.
