Janine Cibellis

Janine Cibellis currently serves as the Senior Director of Development and Donor Relations at the United Way of New York City, a position held since September 2023, where responsibility includes developing strategies to engage and solicit donors. Prior to this role, Janine Cibellis spent nearly nine years at The Opportunity Network, first as Senior Director of Development, driving significant revenue growth, and previously in various development roles. Earlier experience includes comprehensive positions at The New School, focusing on stewardship and donor communications, as well as institutional giving. Janine Cibellis began her career as a Development Specialist at The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University, and also worked as a Paralegal at Sills Cummis & Gross P.C. Janine Cibellis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Seton Hall University.
