Linda Olson

Senior Director, Donor Services at United Way of Northeast Florida

Linda Olson has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Linda has held several roles at different organizations, starting with their current position as the Director of Resource Development Operations and Data Management at United Way of Northeast Florida since January 2020. Prior to this, they were the Director of Corporate Engagement at the same organization from November 2018 to January 2020.

Before joining United Way of Northeast Florida, Linda worked at Channel One Regional Food Bank as the Development and Communications Director from July 2015 to November 2018. During the same period, they also served as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Food Allergy Support Group of Minnesota from July 2015 to September 2016.

Their earlier experience includes working as the Development Director at NorthEast Residence, Inc. from January 2012 to June 2015, and as a Development and Communications Consultant at United Way of Washington County-East from April 2011 to August 2012.

Linda's earliest role was as the Operations, Development, and Marketing Director at United Way St. Croix Valley from May 2006 to January 2012.

Throughout their career, Linda has demonstrated their expertise in resource development, corporate engagement, communications, and marketing in the nonprofit sector.

Linda Olson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from North Dakota State University. Linda also obtained a Fundraising Certificate from the University of St. Thomas. In addition to their formal education, Linda has a certification as a Salesforce Philanthropy Cloud Certified Workplace Account Manager, which they obtained in December 2020 from Salesforce.
