Sarah Henderson has extensive experience in marketing and communications. Sarah started their career as a Writer and Photographer for various magazines before becoming a Research Assistant at UF College of Journalism and Communication. Sarah then worked as a Senior Editor for Orange & Blue magazine and as an Outreach/Communications Intern for Save the Redwoods League. Sarah also served as an Editorial Intern for Sierra Club and as a Reporter and Photographer for The Ponte Vedra Recorder. Sarah's most recent positions include Communications Coordinator at Downtown Vision, Inc. and Director of Marketing and Communications at United Way of Northeast Florida. Currently, they hold the role of Senior Director, Marketing and Communications at United Way, where they lead the marketing and communications strategy for the organization and provides strategic insights to senior leadership.
Sarah Henderson attended the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism with a minor in Environmental Studies. Sarah later pursued a Master's degree in Mass Communication, specializing in Public Interest Communication, from the same institution.
