Kiran Gaudioso has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector. Kiran started their career at the New Jersey Department of Human Services Governor's Office of Volunteerism, where they served as a Policy Advisor and played a crucial role in implementing AmeriCorps in New Jersey. Kiran also created the Governor's Youth Advisory Council focused on volunteerism and community service. Kiran then joined Sponsors for Educational Opportunity as the Director of Mentoring, Volunteerism, and Enrichment Programs. In 2004, they became a founding staff member of NJ After 3, where they served as the Vice President of Program Operations and Interim Chief Executive Officer. At NJ After 3, they provided strategic direction and leadership, developed training and technical assistance plans, and worked closely with the Board and CEO. Most recently, Kiran has been with the United Way of Northern New Jersey, initially as the Chief Operations Officer & Senior Vice President of Community Impact and Community Relations, and currently as the Chief Executive Officer.
Kiran Gaudioso has a strong educational background in public policy and political science. From 1988 to 1992, they attended Syracuse University, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Policy. During the same period, they also pursued studies at the Syracuse University - Maxwell School, where they earned a BA in Political Science and Policy Studies. Following this, Kiran attended Rutgers University from 1992 to 1993, completing a Master's degree in Public Policy.
