Hayley Shriner

Working Bridges Resource Coordinator at United Way of Northwest Vermont

Hayley Shriner is currently working as a Bridges Resource Coordinator at United Way of Northwest Vermont. Prior to this, they worked as a High School Completion Program Plan Manager and Educational Advisor at Vermont Adult Learning from October 2015 to January 2022. In this role, they were responsible for mentoring and supporting youth and adults working towards their high school diploma through the adult education system. This included working with students to develop a personalized learning plan, serving as a liaison between the student and their local high school, academic advising, college and career planning, researching community educational opportunities and developing partnerships. In addition to the regular tasks associated with this position, Hayley also served as the regional representative to Vermont Adult Learning's Personnel Committee, developed and implemented a new training curriculum for advisors in their region, and coordinated courses with adjunct faculty. Hayley also served as a regional representative to Vermont Adult Learning's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. Prior to their work at Vermont Adult Learning, Hayley interned in the Office of International Services at Marlboro College from September 2014 to June 2015.

Hayley Shriner has a Master of Arts in International Education from the School for International Training, a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Arabic Language from Marlboro College, and is an international student who studied Arabic Language and Literature at the American University of Beirut. Hayley is also certified from Oxford TEFL in Trinity Certificate in TESOL.

Hayley Shriner reports to Jesse Bridges, CEO. They are on a team with Amy Carmola - Chief Impact Officer (CIO), Brian Delabruere - Design and Marketing Coordinator, and Ellen Biddle - Director, RSVP & Foster Grandparent Programs.
