Trenton Gates

Trenton Gates has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Trenton is currently working as an Accounting Specialist at United Way of Salt Lake. Previously, they worked as a Project Manager at GroundLevel Utah from June 2021 to February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Landscape Site Manager at LFDG CARE from April 2019 to June 2021. Trenton also served as a Landscape Design Specialist at Ryzan Sun Landscaping from May 2018 to April 2019.

Trenton also gained experience at Utah State University, where they held multiple roles such as Accounts Payable Specialist, Peer Advisor, College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences Ambassador, Greenhouse Worker, and Student Office Assistant. Trenton worked at Utah State University from February 2015 to April 2019.

In addition, Trenton has their own landscaping business as the owner of Trenton Gates Landscaping, which they have been running since May 2007. Trenton specializes in producing renderings of landscape plans and has a wide range of landscaping skills and knowledge.

Earlier in their career, Trenton worked as a Landscape Installation Laborer at AG Trac Enterprises from February 2016 to July 2016. Trenton also served as a Parks Maintenance Worker at North Logan City from April 2015 to November 2015. Moreover, they worked as a Student Brand Ambassador for Xfinity at GMR Marketing in August 2014 and as a Landscaper and Crew Member Supervisor at Provo City from March 2014 to August 2014.

Trenton Gates has a strong educational background in landscape design and construction, with a focus on residential projects. Trenton obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Residential Landscape Design and Construction from Utah State University, which they attended from 2014 to 2018. During their time at Utah State University, Trenton also pursued a minor in Horticulture and Agribusiness.

Prior to attending Utah State University, Trenton completed their Associate of Science (AS) degree in General Studies at Snow College. Trenton attended Snow College from 2011 to 2014.

Trenton's education journey began with their high school diploma from North Sevier High School, which they earned in 2008. Trenton attended North Sevier High School from 2004 to 2008, focusing on general education.

In addition to their formal education, Trenton has obtained relevant certifications in the field. Trenton holds a Worker Protection Standard-Handler certification from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which they obtained in February 2015. Similarly, Trenton obtained a Non-Commercial Pesticide Applicator certification from the State of Utah in April 2015.
