United Way of San Diego County
United Way of San Diego County is improving lives by mobilizing the caring power of the San Diego community. Everyone deserves opportunities to have a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health. Our Vision United Way envisions a vibrant community built on opportunity for everyone. Our Mission To spark breakthrough community action that elevates every child and family toward a brighter future. The foundation for a child’s success starts with family stability. That’s why United Way is primarily invested in the early years: to set kids on the right path toward academic achievement. Because without a solid start in school, most kids won’t succeed. And without family stability – a supportive home, enough income to live, access to health care – a child can’t thrive in school. United Way helps fill in the gaps. We all benefit when our neighbors are successful and thriving. Join the movement!
