Karen Alonso currently serves as the Chief Advancement & Communications Officer and Vice President of Marketing at the United Way of Southern Nevada since April 2023, where responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at promoting the organization's mission and initiatives in diverse communities. Previously, Karen held the position of Associate Vice President of Marketing at Catapult Fundraising from October 2017 to April 2023 and served as the Director of Marketing at Advantage Plus Consulting from February 2009 to October 2017. Karen Alonso holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Business Management from Montclair State University and has additional educational experience from the University of Arizona.
