Gabriela Laguna León

Gabriela Laguna León is a skilled professional with diverse experience in marketing, human resources, and community outreach. Currently serving as a Digital and Content Marketing Specialist at the United Way of Summit & Medina since July 2023, Gabriela previously worked as a Human Resources Assistant at Akron Children's Hospital, managing inquiries and coordinating the Talent Referral Program. Gabriela also held the position of Project Coordinator at All County NEO Property Management, overseeing procurement for rental units and enhancing project management systems. As the Operations Manager at the same company, Gabriela implemented operational efficiencies, while earlier experience as a Resident Assistant at Walsh University involved fostering a supportive community for students. Notably, as a Hispanic Liaison for West Alabama Aids Outreach, Gabriela developed impactful outreach programs that significantly increased community engagement regarding HIV awareness. Gabriela holds an M.A. in Security Studies from The University of Akron and a degree in International Relations from Walsh University.
