Katherine Penny (she/her)

Katherine Penny is a Certified Financial Counselor at United Way of Summit & Medina, providing professional financial counseling focused on budgeting, savings, debt reduction, and credit improvement. Previously, Katherine served as the VITA Coordinator, managing the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program and obtaining IRS certifications. Katherine's experience includes leadership roles at Crossroads Hospice as Lead Manager of Volunteer Services, overseeing staff and departmental goals, and work in program participant management at Good Shepherd Services. Earlier positions include inventory coordination at HandCrafting Justice, community outreach assistance at the University of Dayton, and marketing and human resources internships at Heinen's.
