Brandi Shuler-Ellington, MBA, currently serves as a Caseworker at United Way of the Coastal Empire since June 2021. Prior to this role, Brandi held the position of Assistant Director of Admissions at South University from June 2013 to February 2017. Brandi's educational background includes a Master's degree in Business, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and an Associate's degree in Medical Assistance, all obtained from South University.

The mission of United Way of the Coastal Empire is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities. We are united by a vision of the community in which all people have the opportunity to reach their full potential and families thrive. Our focus is on our commitment to the most vulnerable in our community with an emphasis on basic human needs such as food, shelter, health, and safety in addition to community disaster response. This is the historical core of the United Way of the Coastal Empire’s mission. Beyond our core mission, we want to help all people to reach their full potential. This means providing pathways for Upward Mobility, with a focus on the thousands of our neighbors who have been unable to get ahead, living one paycheck or one crisis away from devastation.
