Our focus is on our commitment to the most vulnerable in our community with an emphasis on basic human needs such as food, shelter, health, and safety in addition to community disaster response. This is the historical core of the United Way of the Coastal Empire’s mission.

Beyond our core mission, we want to help all people to reach their full potential. This means providing pathways for Upward Mobility, with a focus on the thousands of our neighbors who have been unable to get ahead, living one paycheck or one crisis away from devastation.

The Leadership Team at United Way of the Coastal Empire is responsible for guiding and executing the organization's strategic initiatives to enhance community well-being. The Vice President Of Community Investments oversees the allocation of funds and resources to various programs; the Vice President Of Direct Services And Impact ensures the delivery and effectiveness of direct support services; and the Vice President Of Resource Development leads efforts in fundraising and resource acquisition to sustain and expand the mission. Together, this team drives the organization’s commitment to addressing basic human needs, promoting upward mobility, and responding to community disasters.
