Rosie Allen-Herring

Rosie Allen-Herring, MBA, currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of United Way of the National Capital Area. Rosie is also an Independent Director at WesBanco and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at MedStar Health. Rosie is an Executive Committee Member of the Greater Washington Board of Trade, where Rosie previously held the position of Board Chair in 2021. Additionally, Rosie has served as an Executive Board Member at the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital and as Board Chair at the Washington Area Women's Foundation. Rosie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Howard University, a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Strayer University, and has completed fellowship programs at Duke University and University of Cape Town.
