Jim Bethel is an experienced professional with a strong background in operations and management within non-profit organizations. Currently serving as the Utah Valley Rides Coordinator at United Way of Utah County since November 2017, Jim manages program operations, recruits drivers, and oversees vehicle fleet management. Prior to this role, Jim dedicated over 15 years to various leadership positions at the Boy Scouts of America, Utah National Parks Council, including Field Director, District Director, Scout Executive, and Director of Field Service, where responsibilities included supervising multiple districts, managing staff, and overseeing council operations. Jim’s early career featured sales management roles at C.R. Laurance Company and National Equipment Company. Academically, Jim holds an M.B.A. from California Coast University, a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Utah, and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.
