Spanish Translator at United Way of Utah County

Kristen Zamudio is an experienced professional with a background in bilingual support and mental health initiatives. Since June 2018, Kristen has served as a Spanish Translator and Spanish Language Mental Health Trainer for United Way of Utah County, focusing on empowering Hispanic parents and addressing mental health topics in the community. Additionally, Kristen holds the role of Bilingual Parent Support Specialist, managing a caseload of over 250 families and providing resources related to child development, pregnancy, and postpartum services. Prior to this, Kristen interned at Lakeridge Junior High School, where responsibilities included interpreting for counseling sessions and translating educational materials for Spanish-speaking students. Kristen earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Brigham Young University in 2018.
