Volunteer Tax Preparer at United Way

Deborah Jordan possesses extensive experience in education, music, and tax assistance. Since June 1986, Deborah has been serving as a Volunteer Income Tax Assistant (VITA) Preparer and Consultant with the United Way of Greater Cincinnati, providing vital tax-related support alongside the Internal Revenue Service. Concurrently, since January 1987, Deborah has been a Music Teacher and Pianist, specializing in coaching youth choirs for various performances and outreach initiatives. Previously, Deborah retired as a Program Analyst within the Large Business and International Tax Division of the Internal Revenue Service after over three decades of service. Additionally, from 2001 to 2004, Deborah worked as an Adjunct Faculty member at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, developing and instructing a diversity curriculum. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Education with concentrations in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision, and Curriculum Development from Xavier University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Music Education from the University of Cincinnati.
