Francesco Vanni D’archirafi

Francesco Vanni d’Archirafi is the Chairman of Euroclear Holding and Euroclear SA/NV. Until May 2021, Francesco was the Vice Chairman of Citigroup’s International Clients Group for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa based in London. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Citi Holdings (2013-2018) and Chief Executive Officer of Citi Transaction Services (2009-2013) based in New York.

Francesco’s 38-year career at Citi has taken him across Europe and the Americas where he has substantial experience leading businesses, committees, and boards. His background spans a range of banking disciplines from corporate finance, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions to cash management, trade finance, custody and securities services, institutional client management, and geographical franchise management.
