Mike Fandey

Mike Fandey has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Mike began their career as a Sales Representative and Store Manager at The Sherwin-Williams Company. Mike then moved to Duron Paints & Wallcoverings, where they advanced to the role of Director of Training and Development, overseeing the training and development needs of over 1000 employees. After that, Mike joined United Way Worldwide, where they held multiple roles including Director of Talent Management, Vice President of Learning & Conferencing, and Vice President of Customer Support & Success. In these positions, they led various initiatives such as leadership development programs, learning strategies, and customer support efforts. Additionally, Mike served as President (Volunteer) at Chesapeake Bay OD Network.

Mike Fandey obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maryland in 1995. Mike then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management and Organization from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business from 1999 to 2002.

In addition to their academic achievements, Mike Fandey obtained several certifications. In September 2023, they received an edX Verified Certificate for Python Basics for Data Science from edX. In June 2023, they completed the course "GPT-4: The New GPT Release and What You Need to Know" offered by LinkedIn. Mike also completed the "Introduction to Prompt Engineering for Generative AI" course, also provided by LinkedIn, in June 2023.
