Emily Jones has extensive experience in leadership positions focused on social justice and community engagement. Currently serving as the Executive for Racial Justice at United Women in Faith since January 2018, Emily previously held the role of Director & Lead Organizer at the Rhode Island Interfaith Coalition to Reduce Poverty from August 2015 to October 2017. Emily's background includes serving as a Senior School Partnership Specialist and School Partnership Specialist at Communities In Schools of Chicago between September 2010 and August 2015, and as Associate Pastor for Discipleship and Student Pastor for Discipleship at Urban Village Church from May 2011 to June 2014. An early career as an Organizer for the New England Health Care Employees Union/SEIU 1199 from January 2007 to August 2009 further highlights Emily's commitment to advocacy and organizing. Emily holds a Master of Divinity from Chicago Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Ethnicity, Race & Migration from Yale University.
