Jay Godfrey has extensive experience in education and community service, currently serving as a Transformative Education and Training Specialist and previously as the Executive for Faith & Social Justice Education at United Methodist Women since 2016. Prior to this, Jay Godfrey held the role of Seminar Designer at the United Methodist Seminar Program from 2004 to 2015. Early career experience includes working as a Child and Youth Worker at Omladinski Centar from 1998 to 1999, focusing on reconciliation and peace building in central Bosnia, and as a Community Worker at Upper Sand Mountain Parish from 1996 to 1998, where responsibilities included coordinating community programs and services. Jay Godfrey earned an MDiv in Theology from Emory University and a BS in Business Administration from Alfred University, complemented by studies at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
