Pedro Silva

Pedro Silva has extensive work experience in the field of wrestling. Pedro was the President of the Beach Wrestling Committee at United World Wrestling starting in January 2022. Pedro also served as a Bureau Member at United World Wrestling since October 2018. Prior to that, they were involved with the Wrestling Federation of Portugal, where they held the position of Presidente - President and National Technical Director. Pedro Silva was also the President of the Mediterranean Committee of Associated Wrestling Styles, and later served as the Secretary General. Pedro has also held roles in the Sports Confederation of Portugal and the Authority for the Prevention and Fight to Violence in Sport. Additionally, Pedro Silva was a Commission Member at United World Wrestling and worked as an Invited Assistant Professor at the Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal. Pedro also served as the Wrestling Competition Manager for Glasgow 2014 Limited.

Pedro Silva pursued their education at the Faculdade de Motricidade Humana. Pedro completed a Mestrado (Master's degree) in Psicologia do Desporto (Sports Psychology) and a Licenciatura (Undergraduate degree) in Educação Física e Desporto (Physical Education and Sport).
