Rob Wood has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Rob began their career as a Business Analyst at DWP in 2002 and then moved on to work as a Recoveries & BI Analyst at GE Money from 2004 to 2006. After that, they were a Senior Process Improvement Analyst at eircom for a short period of time in 2006. Rob then transitioned to a Project Manager role at Barclays Bank from 2006 to 2008. Following this, they joined Aviva where they worked as a BPO Project Manager from 2008 to 2010 and later as a Service Delivery Manager from 2010 to 2012. Rob then joined GloHealth as the Head of IT & Operations from 2012 to 2015. Rob subsequently worked at Deloitte Ireland as a Director Consulting in the Strategy & Operations division from 2015 to 2016. Currently, Rob is employed at UnitedHealth Group. Rob has held various roles at the company, starting as a Director of Automation in 2016, then progressing to a Senior Director of Automation from 2017 to 2020. Rob eventually became the VP of Global Automation from 2020 to 2023 and is currently serving as the VP of Operations & Transformation starting from October 2023.

Rob Wood attended The Grammar School at Leeds from 1986 to 1996. From 1996 to 2000, they pursued a degree in Business Information Systems (BSc Hons) at Northumbria University. Recently, in 2021 to 2022, Rob completed a Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Informatics at University College Dublin.
