Tom Busse

Tom Busse has over three decades of experience in the technology sector, primarily in leadership roles within the healthcare industry. Since October 2003, Tom has held various vice president positions at UnitedHealth Group, including Vice President of Optum Health Infrastructure and Integrations, Optum Rx IT Operations, and Optum CIO IT Operations, showcasing expertise in IT operations and healthcare technology. Prior to this, Tom served as a manager at Target from 1997 to 2003 and as a technical consultant at BNSF Railway from 1987 to 1997. Tom started the career as an Operating System Engineer at Alcoa from 1985 to 1987. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
