Melissa Alvarado has extensive experience in bi-lingual communication and patient services. At United Way of Greater Toledo, Melissa serves as a Bi-Lingual Information & Referral Specialist, facilitating effective communication and support within the community. Prior to this role, Melissa worked at Planned Parenthood of Northwest Ohio from August 2002 to December 2007 as a Bi-Lingual Patient Services/Agency Interpreter, where responsibilities included scheduling, interpreting, patient advocacy, managing fees, and providing medical office assistance.
