Georgina Mendy

Georgina Mendy is currently the Sponsorship and Development Officer for the People of Colour in Engineering Society at the University of Nottingham Students' Union and works as a bartender at BOX Nottingham, a sports bar and kitchen. With extensive experience in hospitality, Georgina has performed bar staff roles at numerous festivals, including BST Hyde Park and All Points East. Previous positions include Event Officer for the People of Colour in Engineering Society, where event planning and community engagement were key responsibilities, and Peer Mentor at the University of Nottingham Faculty of Engineering. Georgina is pursuing an MEng in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nottingham, having previously completed A Levels in Mathematics, Psychology, and Physics.
