Karen Daniell

Karen Daniell, CPA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in internal audit and financial management. Currently serving as the Manager of Internal Audit & Controls at Unitil since July 2011, Karen leads the internal audit function for a major public utility corporation. Previous roles include Senior Internal Auditor at Commonwealth Dynamics, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed project accounting for multi-million dollar contracts, and Assistant Controller, managing financial compliance with the Mexican tax code. Karen also worked as the Business Manager for the Agricultural Experiment Station at the University of New Hampshire, overseeing significant budget and accounting functions. Earlier, Karen served as an Internal Auditor for the University System of NH. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, both from the University of New Hampshire.
