Megan James is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic messaging and brand management across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Communications at Uniting Vic.Tas since December 2016, Megan oversees communication, media, digital, and graphic design teams, effectively sharing the organization's story with diverse audiences. Previously, roles included Acting Senior Manager for Channels and External Partnerships, and Internal Communications Advisor at Uniting, as well as Communications Consultant for the Uniting Church in Australia. Other notable positions encompass project management and advisory roles at the Department of Premier and Cabinet, Victoria Police, Office of the Fair Work Ombudsman, HM Revenue & Customs, and the Department of Health in the UK. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Advertising, and Marketing from the University of Canberra.

Uniting in Victoria and Tasmania is an organisation founded through the joining of 21 UnitingCare agencies and Wesley Mission Victoria. In coming together as a a single organisation we make a deep and lasting commitment to continue providing necessary, valuable and relevant services to the communities we work alongside.
