April Piazza-Shelp serves as an Instructor and Curriculum Development Specialist for the Animal Health and Behavior Program at Unity College since January 2019, in addition to roles as an Adjunct Professor. April Piazza-Shelp's early career involved various veterinary technician roles, including Certified Veterinary Technician positions at VCA Dunmore Animal Hospital and Banfield Pet Hospital. April Piazza-Shelp holds a Master’s of Science in Anthrozoology from Canisius University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from King University, and an Associate of Science in Veterinary/Animal Health Technology from Johnson College.
