Kelly Buck is an experienced marketing and development professional with a strong background in both nonprofit and educational sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing & Development at Unity House of Cayuga County, Inc. since July 2009, Kelly Buck has successfully developed and managed comprehensive fundraising strategies, including donor relations and grant writing, while creating the organization's development function from inception. Prior to this role, Kelly Buck was the Director of Publications & Media Relations at Wells College from 2000 to 2009, where responsibilities included writing, editing, and designing alumni publications and campus newsletters, as well as enhancing media relations. Educational credentials include a B.S. in Corporate Communication from Ithaca College and an A.A.S. in Hotel/Restaurant Management from Paul Smith's College.

Unity House
Unity House provides transitional and permanent housing, respite care, and rehabilitative and employment services for individuals with mental illnesses, developmental/intellectual disabilities, and/or chemical dependencies from which they are recovering. A nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1977, Unity House partners with these individuals to develop their personal skills and potential, enabling them to live more full and independent lives. The agency is committed to providing consumer-centered and consumer-driven services, programs, and supports, serving more than 700 consumers a day in six central New York counties (Cayuga, Tompkins, Wayne, Onondaga, Seneca, and Ontario). Unity House also seeks to free our communities of misconceptions associated with disabilities through innovation, education, and advocacy. Unity House’s headquarters are located in Auburn, New York. The agency employs more than 300 people and is licensed by the New York State Office of People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), the New York State Department of Health (DOH), and the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS).
