Ranjan Ghosh

Ranjan Ghosh is an accomplished banking and financial services professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as President at Unity Small Finance Bank since November 2021, Ghosh contributes to the establishment of India’s first digital bank following the merger of Centrum’s financial services with Bharat Pe. Previously, Ghosh was Chairman of the Board at Centrum Microcredit Ltd, focusing on financial inclusion, and held the position of MD & CEO at Centrum Financial Services Ltd, where efforts were directed towards building a reputable lender for MSMEs. Ghosh also has a rich history at Standard Chartered Bank, serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Banks in the Financial Institutions Group, and at HSBC in various capacities, including Head of Corporate Banking in Bangalore. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Northern Iowa and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jadavpur University.
