James Whitaker has a diverse work experience in the banking sector. James is currently the Head of Data Strategy at Unity Trust Bank, where they contribute to economic, community, and social change. Before this, they worked as a Regional Director at Unity Trust Bank, supporting the bank's mission and helping organizations prosper. Prior to joining Unity Trust Bank, James also held various roles at Barclays, including Regional Head of High Growth & Entrepreneurship, Regional Head of SME for Business Banking, Area Business Manager, Area Manager, and Business Manager. During their time at Barclays, they led teams, implemented strategic initiatives, and provided support to small and medium-sized businesses across different regions.
