Andrew Erickson has a diverse work experience in the field of procurement and supply chain management. Andrew has held various roles in different companies, starting with their position as a Chemical Quality Technician at Abbott Laboratories, Inc from 2000 to 2003. Andrew then worked as a Senior Lead Analyst at Abbott Laboratories from 2003 to 2004.
Erickson joined Hospira in 2004 and held the roles of Quality Systems Supervisor, Supplier Quality/Quality Systems Supervisor, and Production Supervisor until 2008. During this time, they managed personnel operations, ensured quality in manufacturing processes, and improved productivity in the testing laboratory.
Andrew then joined Baxter in 2008 as a Global Supplier Quality Manager, where they designed quality systems and audited external suppliers for pharmaceutical drug and device manufacturing. Erickson represented Baxter in industry discussions and benchmarking forums until 2012. In the same company, they worked as a Global Purchasing Manager from 2012 to 2014, leading a team responsible for setting the corporate strategy for critical raw materials and new chemicals.
From 2014 to 2016, Erickson worked as a Category Manager at Univar, responsible for global sourcing and supplier development. Andrew then became the Director Global Sourcing and Supplier Development, where they developed and implemented a procurement transformation strategy, leading to significant cost reductions and margin enhancement. In their most recent role at Univar, they served as the Director of Product Management.
Throughout their career, Erickson has gained extensive experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, quality control, and team leadership.
Andrew Erickson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2000. Andrew later completed their MBA at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management from 2009 to 2012.
