Christopher Ernst

Christopher Ernst has a strong background in product marketing management and business development. Christopher started their career as a Project Engineer at Morton Salt in 1997 and then worked at Scholle IPN as a Process Engineer and later as a Team Leader in Process Engineering. In 2004, they joined Univar Solutions as a Sales Account Manager and quickly progressed through various roles including Regional Industry Manager, Business Development Manager, Continuous Improvement - Deployment Lead, and Industry Director. From 2011 to 2016, they served as an Industry Director at Univar Solutions, leading product management and technical development teams for the Coatings & Adhesives, Rubber & Composites, and Lubricants markets. In 2016, they became the Business Director for the Coatings & Adhesives, Rubber & Composites, and Lubricants divisions, overseeing sales, product management, and technical development teams. In 2017, they transitioned to the role of Senior Director of Product Marketing Management, where they were responsible for building and managing a high-performing team focused on the Solvents business. Throughout their career, Christopher has demonstrated expertise in developing growth strategies, managing P&L, and driving sustainable, profitable growth in the specialty products industry. Alongside their professional roles, they have also been actively involved in the Chicago Paint & Coatings Association, serving as a Board Member and participating in the Community Relations Committee.

Christopher Ernst attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1993 to 1997, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
