Technical Lead at Univeris

Eric Sacco has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Eric is currently employed at Univeris as the Technical Lead since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Software Developer from March 2020 to September 2021 and an Intermediate Software Developer from March 2019 to March 2020. In these positions, Eric demonstrated a strong skillset in Java EE, Core Java, Hibernate, and various unit testing libraries. Eric also worked on microservice development using the SpringBoot framework, implemented Restful APIs, and contributed to internal libraries and projects. Eric gained expertise in Java build cycle, dependency management (Maven), and release of libraries and applications. Additionally, they actively participated in testing activities and utilized Ms SQL for development tasks and performance analysis. Eric also had exposure to devops tools like Ansible and CloudFormation and worked with Amazon Web Services for deployment and orchestration activities. Furthermore, they provided client support for various products and effectively collaborated with cross-functional teams using source control technologies.

Before joining Univeris, Eric worked at ServiceEcho as a Software Developer from September 2014 to August 2015. Here, they developed custom applications for the Salesforce platform, used Agile methodologies to ensure timely deliverables, led customer-facing meetings, and managed project timelines. Eric utilized technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, SOQL, and Node.

Eric's previous experience includes a short stint as a Manager-Tool Developer at Bell in 2014 and 2013, respectively. Eric also worked as a Swim Instructor at Atlantis School of Swim from January 2009 to May 2013 and as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor at The Oakville Club from May 2011 to September 2012.

Eric Sacco completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (Co-op) from Ryerson University between 2011 and 2016. Prior to that, they attended White Oaks Secondary School from 2007 to 2011 to obtain their High School Diploma.
