Karen Shroyer, MBA, SPHR has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Karen has held various roles in different organizations, demonstrating their expertise in human resources and administration.

Starting from 1994, Karen served as the Office Manager at the Center for Solutions in Brief Therapy. Karen then moved on to work at The Lima News, where they took on the roles of Administrative Assistant, Advertising Assistant, and later Sales Consultant.

In 2006, Karen joined Sugarcreek Township as the Human Resource Manager and also briefly served as the Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Police. Here, they handled multiple responsibilities, including administering HR plans, managing compensation programs, and analyzing insurance and compensation information.

In 2015, Karen became the Human Resource Manager at PSA Airlines, Inc., where they supervised staff, provided support to employees and management, and administered HR plans and procedures.

Since 2017, Karen has been associated with Universal 1 Credit Union. Karen started as the AVP of Human Resources, responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing HR functions. Karen was further promoted to the role of VP of Human Resources. Currently, Karen serves as the Chief Administration Officer, playing a crucial role in establishing and implementing major goals and objectives of the Credit Union.

Karen Shroyer, MBA, SPHR has a diverse education history. Karen earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Park University between 2018 and 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Management with a focus on Human Resource from Park University from 2011 to 2015. In 1990-1991, Karen obtained a Diploma in Legal Secretarial Science from International Business College. Before that, they received their high school education and graduated with a Diploma from Wapakoneta High School between 1985 and 1990.

In addition to their degrees, Karen Shroyer also holds the certification of Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR) obtained in January 2021 from HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
