Doug Tissier is a highly experienced software architect with a robust background in audio software development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Architect at Universal Audio since December 2011, Tissier previously held positions at Avid/Digidesign, Inc. as an Applications Engineer from August 1996 to December 2011, where notable contributions included the initial port of Euphonix System 5 channel strip DSP to AAX Channel Strip plug-in for Pro Tools and the implementation of GUI and XML based layouts for Avid's AAX plug-ins. Tissier's tenure at Digidesign from August 1991 to August 1996 as a Systems Engineer involved creating key AudioSuite specifications and plugins, such as DC Offset Removal and Vari-Fi.
