Mark Phillips is a highly experienced audio software architect with a successful track record in the audio engineering industry. Currently serving as the Principal Audio Software Architect at Universal Audio since March 2015, Mark leads a team of engineers focused on enhancing plug-in technology. Previously, Mark held positions at Audience, Inc. as a Senior DSP Engineer and Staff Algorithm Engineer, specializing in noise suppression and audio enhancement algorithms. Mark's extensive background also includes a tenure at Creative Labs, where significant contributions were made towards dynamic range reduction algorithms, as well as roles at Euphonics/3Com/U.S. Robotics and earlier experiences as a Teaching Assistant at Cornell University and a co-op intern at Sandia National Laboratories. Mark holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University.
