Scott van Duyne

Scott Van Duyne is a highly experienced Senior DSP Algorithm Engineer at Universal Audio since January 2017. Prior to this role, Scott co-founded Visible Legacy, where responsibilities included developing systems for interactive information retrieval from September 2009 to 2018. At Stanford University, Scott served as a Programmer from January 2013 to January 2017, working on the transition of the technology licensing database to a web-based implementation. Additional roles include Consulting Programmer at WestEd from November 2010 to December 2014 and Partner at KLM from January 2008 to January 2011, focusing on creative productions and consulting. Scott's leadership experience includes Director of Software Development at Analog Devices, Inc. and VP of Engineering at Staccato Systems, where patented audio algorithm technology was developed. Educationally, Scott earned a PhD in Computer-Based Music Theory & Acoustics from Stanford University, a Master's in Theory from the New England Conservatory of Music, and an A.B. in Music Composition from Harvard University.
