Akina Hoshino

Akina Hoshino is a highly experienced professional in the field of science and research. With a background in neuroscience, biology, and Chinese language, Akina has worked in various roles such as Graduate Research Assistant, Senior Research Fellow, and Director of Cell Editing and Process Development. Currently employed at Universal Cells, Akina focuses on gene editing of stem cells to create universal donor cells for cell therapies. Prior to this, Akina conducted research on protein aggregation in neurodegenerative diseases at the University of Maryland. Throughout Akina's career, the focus has been on understanding and improving processes related to stem cell research and development.
