Our Beginnings: Universal Corporation Ltd was founded in 1999 with an intent to create a national availability model for high-end international brands that did not have a presence in India. We began by partnering with major global giants like Procter & Gamble, Philips, Kraft, Cadbury’s and Mars to introduce iconic brands like Pampers, Olay, Gillette Fusion, Duracell, Wella & Philips Avent to the Indian market. Expanding our Vision: Our experience in establishing brands with International giants helped us gain valuable insights on the increasingly aspirational Indian consumers. Our consumers were hungry for options and willing to embrace products that could create a difference in their lives. But choices were still limited. That is where we felt we could make a difference. We took the lead in providing varied products and categories through our In-House Brand launches, designed to keep pace with the increasing needs and wants of our consumers. Our Brand launches have been across several categories, spanning life-stages from infancy to old age. Our Brands remain committed towards continuous improvement and the betterment of the society that we share with our consumers. From infants to the elderly, our brands would touch every life stage. Today, we take great pride in the success of our products ranging from Mother & Child Care, Adult incontinence Care, Personal Care & Home appliances as well as Foods. Our brands like LuvLap, Agaro, Karein & Disano are rapidly climbing the Consumer preference ladder. Our products are available in 1 Lakh stores across India, with dominant presence in Modern Trade & E-Commerce platforms. Since its inception, we have strived to be customer-centric, putting as much thought into post purchase service as in product design & sales. We are committed towards a happier India, and will continue to work towards realizing that dream.
