Antonio Jesús Merino Calvo has worked for various companies since 2009. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a Biologist for Aliart-Engineering, S.L. & Bluedisplays. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as Support to sales team in chemicals and biological products for Roche. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Clinical Research Associate Trainee for Celgene. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator for Hospital Virgen de la Salud (Toledo). Currently, they work as a Clinical Study Manager and Clinical Data Manager for Universal Diagnostics SL. In their role as Clinical Data Manager, they are responsible for keeping the quality of the clinical data and the documentation associated with the biological samples collected in the context of the studies and research projects. Antonio Jesús also supports in the management of clinical data, including tasks associated with report preparation, database closure and queries management. Additionally, they review clinical data in collaboration with the CDM of hospitals/biobanks and manages the queries of the assigned protocols.

Antonio Jesús Merino Calvo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the Universidad de Granada in 2010. In 2015, they obtained two certifications from Johns Hopkins University and the University of California, San Diego, respectively. Following this, they completed a Master's degree in Monitoring of Clinical Trials, Clinical Research from the IUSC | International University Study Center in 2016, with a field of study in Clinical health/medical sciences higher studies.
