Alex Dyatkin is a Principal Research Scientist at Universal Display Corporation since May 2006, specializing in the design and synthesis of OLED materials for displays and lighting. Previously, Alex held positions as a Senior Research Scientist at Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development LLC from 2000 to 2006, and as a Senior Scientist at R.W. Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute from 1996 to 2000. Earlier experience includes a Scientist role at Boehringer Ingelheim from 1995 to 1996, where Alex discovered a novel analog of the antiviral drug Nevirapine and developed new pathways to various compounds. Additionally, Alex was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Trinity University from 1993 to 1995, focusing on chiral Rh (II) complexes and enantioselective carbenic reactions. Academic credentials include a Diploma in Chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University (1978-1982) and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry (1987-1992).
