Tom Sossong

Tom Sossong is a seasoned patent and licensing professional with extensive experience in intellectual property law. Currently serving as Senior Patent and Licensing Counsel at Universal Display Corporation since March 2013, Tom has previously held positions as Patent Counsel and Patent Attorney at prestigious law firms including Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. Tom began professional career as a Patent Agent at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and RatnerPrestia, following a foundational role as an Investigator at GlaxoSmithKline. Tom holds a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
