John Drakey

John Drakey is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in software development and systems management. Currently serving as the IT Director at Universal Engraving, Inc. since October 2007, John oversees all aspects of the IT department, including software development, security, and networking. Prior roles include Software Engineering Manager at ICOP Digital, where John managed the development of software systems for digital video recording devices, and Software Engineer at Birch Telecom, focusing on IT development. John's earlier experience includes positions as a Systems Programmer at MultiService and as an Assistant Language Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. John holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and East Asian Language and Culture from the University of Kansas.
