Brent Scott

Brent Scott currently serves as Deputy General Counsel – Operations at UFP Industries, overseeing a team of attorneys that provide legal support across the company's operational business segments, while also leading legal efforts for the retail segment. Previously, Brent held the position of Senior Associate Attorney at Bodman PLC, focusing on litigation, employment, and insurance matters, and represented clients in various legal disputes. Prior experience includes working as an Associate Attorney at Harvey Kruse, P.C., dealing with civil litigation across multiple domains, and at Clarkston Legal, specializing in criminal defense and family law. Brent's legal career began with law clerk positions in the State of Michigan's Attorney General’s Office and the Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office. Brent holds a Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University.
