Jake Burns

Jake Burns is an experienced professional in the wood products industry, currently serving as Plant Manager at UFP Industries since April 2021, overseeing packaging, retail, and construction wood products. Prior roles include Quality Assurance/New Product Development at Mendocino Forest Products Company, LLC, and Mill Manager at California Cascade Building Materials, where focus areas included redwood remanufacturing and composite building materials. Jake also has extensive experience from Sierra Pacific Industries, where responsibilities ranged from supervisor to millwright, and began a career as a Firefighter/EMT with the U.S. Forest Service. Jake's education includes attendance at Sierra College and American River College.
